Eamon Sahu and Mohammad Arshaan Khan from Grade 11 have secured 3rd Position in Robomission at WRO Nationals Ahmedabad 2024 and won a cash prize of INR 50,000. Competing against 15 teams from all across the country, they showcased their brilliance in the Robomission Senior Category.

Avyaa Vishwakarma from Grade 6 bagged the Gold Medal in the Open District Table Tennis Tournament, organized by the Bhopal District Table Tennis Association in the Under-14 category.
Mohammad Toheed Tanveer from Grade 6 played a phenomenal final match in Mumbai, emerging as the best player in the country in the Under-11 category. This victory comes from the Junior Squash Open National Circuit Competition, organized by the Squash Federation of India and held at Matunga Gymkhana, Mumbai.

Additionally, he secured a Silver medal in the 34th Mini & Sub Junior National Malkhamb Championship. Known for its emphasis on balance and agility, Malkhamb is a traditional Indian sport that Yuvraj has mastered with dedication and finesse.
Drakshan Abeer from Grade 11 authored her first book ‘With or Without’ which is a captivating work of fiction and is beautifully infused with the sparkle of philosophy.
Itika Tiwari, Billabonger from Grade 2 has made all of us proud by shining ever so brightly in the Bhopal District Inter-School Karate Championship where she bagged the gold medal in the event of Shi-Go-Sho-Wa-Kai Individual Kata.
Lakshya Agarwal, Billabonger from Grade 4 earned a gold medal in the Bhopal district inter-school karate championship 2023. He also secured the third position in individual kata in the same competition.

This course has armed him with the conceptual and technical knowledge needed to advance in the field of Game Development and coding. While there is no dearth of career options, game development will always be a perennial career choice for him that will only explode going forward.

Against stiff competition from 2 college teams and 13 other school teams representing 6 different states, including Karnataka, Delhi, and Maharashtra, the BHIS Bhopal Team emerged as the champions in the Drone Challenge category. The judges evaluated various aspects of the competition, such as landing, take-off, design, innovation, flight path, and drone timing, and our team excelled in every single one of them and achieved a score of 64 out of 65 in the final round!

Billabonger, Yuvraj Rao Ghatge from Grade 6 won the Gold Medal at the Khelo India Under 18 Mallakhamb Competition. He received prize money of Rs. 5 lacs and an invitation to the CM House.
Vransh Sharma of Grade 12, with his relentless efforts and determination bagged the Bronze medal in the Under 19 High Jump event. He won this prize at the 66th School State Athletic Championship, 2022, under the aegis of SGFI, held at SAI Goregaon, Bhopal.
Mohammed Mafaaz Khan of Grade 10 secured the Best Delegate position in the IP Journalism Committee in the Fourth Chapter of EPS MUN held at Bhopal.
Gabriella V. Marques achieved Distinction in the Grade 2 Piano Examination (written and practical) from Trinity College, London.
Yash Jaswani secured the winning medal for the Championship Trophy in the 8th M.P. Cadet and Junior State Kurash Championship 2022-23. Bhopal needed 1 gold to acquire the winning trophy and Yash made it possible. Yash was representing the U14 category but was asked to play against the U18 category for the finale.
Rida Aamir, our school captain from grade 12 won the first prize at the Bhopal Literature & Art Festival- Poetry Writing Contest. Her composition- 'Lucid Dreams', powerful voice, command of the stage, and connection to the audience were admired by one and all.
Mannat Kaur Kandal, Billabonger from grade 12, our Editor-in-Chief, co-authored and presented her first paper titled 'Effectiveness of online education for children with Special Needs during Covid-19 pandemic' at the National Conference on Emerging Trends in Special Education and they were felicitated by The Disability Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh. The paper was authored by our very own faculty Ms. Arpita Kaswa.
Priyam Kanojiya, Billabonger from grade 9 loves reading and writing about women as the main leads in novels.
As Ernest Hemingway puts it, "Details make stories human, and the more human a story can be, the better" and Priyam's story, 'Humans Are Strange Creatures' is published by Scholastic under 'Weavers of Wonder' by budding writers.
Sneha Sinha, Billabonger from grade 12 ranked first amongst 25 teams from across the country at the U18 Launchpad - an Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at IIT Delhi.
Sneha was awarded by Mr. V. Ramgopal Rao, ex-director of IIT Delhi for sharing her pitch to the investors and her ideas for a successful enterprise.
Billabongers Anvi Khanduri from grade 7 and Vanshaj Khanna from grade 12 gave a stellar performance in the Bhopal District Triathlon Championship 2022- AQUATHLON.
Anvi Khanduri scored the first position and won a 'Gold' medal in the Girls category (400 mtrs. swimming, 4 kms running) and Vanshaj Khanna came second and won a 'Silver' medal in the Boys category (750 mtrs. swimming, 5 kms running).

Billabonger from Grade 1 Parshvi Jalori has been honored with the World’s Youngest Author of The Millennium Award.
Parshvi has written a story which has been published by renowned ‘Wordly Wise Publishers’, Delhi. With this, Parshvi has bagged the award of India’s Youngest Ever Author.
Her book was launched by Hon. Chief Minister (M.P.) Sh. Shivraj Singh Chouhan on her birthday.
We’re delighted to announce that Bhawishya Achary, a Billabonger from grade 9 hits the hattrick by winning the State Championship three times in the Painting Competition organised by the Ministry of Power (Govt. of India) under the National Awareness Campaign.
Bhawishya won a cash prize of ₹ 50,000 and will now compete at the National Level Painting Competition to be held in Delhi.

India’s Got Talent is one of the most popular talent competitions in the country. From acrobats to comedians to singers, some amazing acts have graced the show's stage.
Yuvraj Rao Ghadge, a fifth-grader, excelled as the youngest lead performer in the troupe at India's Got Talent. He gave a jaw-dropping performance where he represented the group ‘Bharat Boys’ named after our Yoga Faculty, Mr Bharat Singh Bandhewal and performed Mallakhamb on four poles.
Kirron Kher, Singer Badshah, Shilpa Shetty, and Singer Manoj Kumar were awestruck by the stunts performed by our troupe.

When she flails her mighty pen on paper, Mayra A. Rozatkar, our talented 7th grader, never fails to leave her readers spellbound. Adding an illustrious feather to her cap, she published her first book, titled "Quest Diaries - Journey to Unknown Lands", the first part in a series. The story is centred around two siblings. The first book is written from the perspective of the first sibling, while the second one will be from the point of view of the other. The book ends on an exciting cliffhanger, and we can’t wait to read the rest of the series too.

A felicitation ceremony for Arayna was also held at Billabong High International School, amongst her peers and faculty members. Arayna briefly spoke about her book, what motivated her to write it, and the message she intends to send to her readers through her work. Our Principal, Mr Ashish Agrawal, also addressed the gathering and urged the students in the audience to pursue their passion incessantly and with focus, drawing examples from Arayna’s journey.

We are excited to share that the debating prowess of Nilotama Singh, our student of Grade 9 has stood out once again. Nilotama received an Honourable Mention at the virtual Scottish Model United Nations organised by Bombay Scottish School, Mahim on 12th and 13th June 2021. As a United Kingdom Diplomat of the Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Committee (SOCHUM) of the United Nations General Assembly, she brought forward powerful thoughts across the table. The agenda of the committee was "Effects of Covid-19 pandemic on the rise in the suppression of human rights and democratic freedom." There were 74 members in this committee participating from schools across India. Nilotama also gained first-hand experience of the night crisis where she was a delegate of South Korea. Here, she observed the regional conflict crisis of the Warsaw pact and NATO Nations. Commendable, Nilotama!
Shravya Pandey, our student of grade 6, has made it to the 12th National Mega Final level of the Wiz National Spell Bee Competition. The competition comprises 5 rounds - school-level, inter-school level, state-level, national level, and the mega final level. Shravya will be competing with 79 students at the mega final level to be held virtually on 27th June 2021. She happens to be the only finalist from Madhya Pradesh to have made it to this level among participants from 11 other states. We’re already extremely proud of her and wish her the best for the finals!

Pari Surjani, our student of Grade 12 participated in the 'Leaders of Tomorrow' podcast contest organised by The Free Press Journal in partnership with Edupeer on the theme 'I have a dream'. She has been selected to receive an award for excellence in this contest. In her podcast, Pari addresses the issue of female infanticide in India. Her narration takes the listener through an imaginary situation about what an unborn girl child goes through when a family decides to give in to the societal pressure to claim false pride and honour. We are excited to share that Nilotama Singh, our student of Grade 9, participated in 'The Bhopal Shakespeare Fest 2021' (April 21-24) organised by Club Literati. Out of a bunch of interesting activities planned for this event, she won the first prize in 'All's Well if Drawn Well'. This handmade poster competition judged the submissions based on how Shakespeare would be relevant in today's 'brave new world', which is coping with the current pandemic situation. Aanyaa Kekre, our talented Billabonger of Grade 12 received the Bal Shree Award in Creative Writing (English poem) from the Central Women and Child Development Ministry along with Kisan Vikas Patra and a collection of books. The award ceremony was held on International Women's Day where she was awarded by the Honourable Chief Minister of MP, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Aanyaa cleared four national level rounds held by Bal Bhavan, New Delhi and became the only child to have won the English poetry writing competition. Congratulations, Aanyaa for nailing it!
BHIS Bhopal wins the inter-Billabong scriptwriting competition Script-O-Mania 2020! We are excited to see some of our talented Billabongers win the Inter-Billabong scriptwriting competition, Script-O-Mania 2020 by collaboratively submitting an original script for a play in a broadway format. The winning team from BHIS Bhopal comprises Hia Sadho, Prashasti Praveen, Juhi Goyal, Siyona Panvalkar, and Priyansh Khare. These students worked hard on their script ‘Once upon a glitch’, which will now be used as the script for annual concerts across all Billabong High schools. That’s some accomplishment!

The theme for this category was 'water conservation'. Om's work stood out for its intricate detail relevant to the given theme.
Avyan Nahar, our emerging karate champ from Grade 1 participated in the COVID 19 Welfare Virtual Karate Championship and won the 1st prize in the boy's kata category (under 7 years). Billabong High wins the ‘Best Project’ award at FLL Nationals It was nothing short of amazement to see our school team comprising 7 students working rigorously to come up with an innovative ‘SECWRAC’ (Simple Exercise Chair With Resistance And Cardio); an automated exercising chair that can be used for working out in space since it does not require gravity to function. This very model brought home the ‘Best Project’ award in the South-Nationals competition of FLL held on 23rd and 24th Feb 2019 at Candour School, Electronic City, Bengaluru. Billabong High lifts the Techfest Trophy at Sanskaar Valley! 20 schools, 19 competitions, and 630 students- the fight was tough but our techies once again bagged the overall trophy at the Techfest organized at Sanskaar Valley on Oct 13, 2018. Out of the 19 competitions conducted at the event, our children secured a podium finish in 13 of them! It was nothing short of a celebration to see our children emerge victorious across rounds like ‘Build with Minecraft’, ’Digi Wiz IT Quiz’, ‘Script the Sprit’, \'Snap and Spin’, ‘Lights Camera Action’, ’Access Denied’, and ‘Clever Note’.
